Nevermind, heard it was called for the day about 3 PM.

Nope I've got a bad MSD box in Marks car so I'll just wait for BG.

Does anyone know what time the Junior Dragsters will get a time trial tomorrow? Also, will they just get one? Are there usually quite a few Junior Dragsters at this event? We are coming down in the morning and have never raced at this event.

Thanks for any information,

Tim Newmeyer

Well, it's a little after 9pm right now, and we're probably 30 minutes away from running the second round of qualifying. The word I am getting is that there won't be a third round tomorrow - we'll be going right into eliminations on the normal schedule.

I don't know anything about Jr. Dragsters being in the program. I'll ask when I get a chance, though.

Thanks for checking. It was listed in the event schedule that the Junior Dragsters would run on Sunday. I'll check back later for a reply if you don't mind, as I would hate to tow for 3 hours, just to have to turn back around and go home.

Thanks,
Tim Newmeyer

I just checked with the tower, and we are indeed running Jr.'s on Sunday, and since we'll be back on a "normal" schedule tomorrow, we should be having time trials as we had planned.

It stinks being stuck here at home... :(

Mike, I know that you're depending on the fact that by the time I am in a position to hurt you physically, the memory of just how unhappy I am right now will have faded to a dull ache instead of throbbing agony.

It's 11:16 pm. We still have 2nd round of FS, MM, OC, and TR to run, plus running three classes of brackets through the end of their elimination ladder. We're on our third oildown of the night. We're all trying to maintain a positive outlook nevertheless.

could you wake back up and list OC by reaction time instead of ET?

thanks!

Nope.

I'm told that because the field is so big, it's being paired for the first round at random, and the only significance to the qualifying order is to determine who gets a bye and when. With that said, I can only post what I'm given. Sorry...

If you look in this forum, at the post directly below this one, titled "Qualifying Round 2," they should be there. (There were only 2 rounds of qualifying.)

Thank you very much for letting us know for sure that the Junior Dragsters would be running today. It was unfortunate that there were only 2 Juniors, but my son, Lee, had a blast and won as well!! We all had a great time and were treated great by all the NMRA and National Trails people.

Thanks,
