I would think you may be ok at that late of a time.

I-80 has construction from around Ottawa, IL west towards the Iowa border and now the new construction is from I-55 east towards Rt. 45. I don't know about construction east of I-57 though as I don't get over there for work. Typically there are delays or construction east of the I-57/I-80 interchange towards the Indiana border. Like I said, I haven't been over that way in a while though so I don't know the current state of 80 over there. The biggest delays are from Rt. 45 to Rt 53 where you would get off to go south to the racetrack. There are a couple options really depending on the time of day and traffic. Counting the I-57 exit, there are 5 exits that you can take before you get to where the construction is really bad. You can tune to AM 780 and they do traffic updates every 10 minutes on the 8's. ex. 10:08, 10:18, 10:28 etc. Hope this helps

not 2 bad between 12-4 if your coming from the east get off I-57 south to monee 2 big truck stop and a truck wash right their take monee-manhattan rd west to 52 make a right take it all the way to laraway rd make a left and that will take you right the track you mite have to go pass the nascar track to rt 53 and make a left if that gate is close and come in between drag strip and the nascar track.

You also can I -57 south to laraway and head west right to the track but if you have a big truck and need fuel then get off in monee its just a few miles south of laraway.

The exit off of I-57 is Sauk Trail, that turns into Laraway Rd past RTE 45............

safest route if coming in west bound on I80 is to get off at Route 45/ Lagrange road and head south to Route 74/Laraway Road and go west to the track like stated.

If coming up from south I57 you can get off at Peotone/Willmington Road and cut over to Rt53 then north to the track also.

If coming up from south I55, get off on Arsenel Road #245 and go east to Rt53, then north to the track.

If your hotel is in Joliet, you can use Brandon Road to bypass all the 53/I80 traffic if your staying up off Larkin Ave. Brandon Road is off Laraway just west of rt53 at the Laraway light. It will dump you onto RT6 which you can then get to Larkin or Holbolt.

Yes, taking Laraway Rd west passes the Chicagoland Speedway (NASCAR Indycar) which is where you will want to be to lineup Wednesday night. Be safe, and see you at the track ...;)

FYI, Bridge clearance on Brandon Road just South of Route 6 is 11' 4". Fight the temptation to take your stacker down that way.
